Simple spiced chutneys can be dated back to 500 B.C. originated in India. The method of preserving food was introduced to British and Romans by their encounters with the Indian Sub-continent. Indians can make chutney out of any ingredient. Below is my recipe of Mint Chutney. Hope you like it.
Ingredients:
- Mint Leaves – 1 cup
- Coriander Leaves – 1 cup
- Green Chilli – 1-2
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Curd 2-3 tbsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Method:
Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilli, ginger, curd, lemon juice and salt in mixer jar and grind together to make a smooth paste like consistency. Add water if required as per the thickness.
